Description

Moorland View is a luxury two-bedroom holiday cottage in the 13th century thatched village of North Bovey, in the hills of Dartmoor National Park, Devon, UK.

Perfect for romantic breaks and honeymoons, our cosy thatched cottage has an open log fire, huge copper bath for two, beautiful views from the window seats and a romantic rose garden.

Cottage guests have complimentary membership of nearby five-star Bovey Castle, with free and unlimited use of its spa, Jacuzzi, sauna, pool, golf, gym and tennis facilities, and a discount on anything purchased (including spa treatments). Bovey Castle is a beautiful 20-minute walk along a wooded river, or a three-minute drive away.

North Bovey is an idyllic village, with a traditional pub serving fantastic food and real ales straight from the barrel, an ancient parish church, oak-shaded village green and beautiful riverside walks. It's peaceful and secluded: the only sounds are distant church bells, birdsong and the occasional clip-clopping of horses' hooves.

Dartmoor is one of the UK's largest remaining wildernesses and there are beautiful walks on the cottage's doorstep. For beach lovers, the sandy coves of South Devon aren't far. Gidleigh Park, which has two Michelin stars, is close by.
