Romantic Cottage, Devon, UK
Our romantic Devon cottage has been rated the UK's most romantic cottage by The Times and Conde Nast Traveller. Moorland View is an idyllic destination for a romantic UK cottage holiday break or honeymoon.
Our luxurious Devon cottage offers pure romance. It has a log fire, huge vintage bath, idyllic views, boutique decor, rose garden and beautiful Devon walks. For honeymooners, we offer romantic honeymoon packages.
Cottage guests have unlimited use of the spa, jacuzzi, sauna, pool, golf, gym and tennis facilities of five-star Bovey Castle Hotel nearby, with 10% off anything purchased (including meals).
Moorland View Cottage is in the romantic 13th century thatched village of North Bovey in the wooded hills of Dartmoor, South Devon. North Bovey is one of the UK's prettiest villages, with a wonderful pub serving delicious Devon fayre, an oak-shaded village green and medieval church. It's incredibly peaceful: the only sounds are distant church bells, birdsong and the occasional clip-clopping of horses' hooves.
Dartmoor is one of the UK's largest remaining wilderness destinations so there are dozens of romantic woodland and moorland walks on the cottage's doorstep. For beach lovers, the sandy coves of South Devon are a 45-minute drive away.
