ROMANTIC DEVON COTTAGE
Our romantic Devon cottage dates from 1705 and is Grade II-listed. It has beautiful wood-beamed walls, an inglenook fireplace with a real log fire (wood provided), flagstone floors and deep-filled window seats that look out onto views of our romantic walled rose garden and Dartmoor.

Exquisitely decorated in hand-painted wallpapers, antique French furniture, soothing colours and sheepskin rugs, Moorland View is an uber-chic cottage set in wild and wuthering countryside. Best of all is the huge vintage copper bath, which is plenty big enough for two. Bubbles provided.
IDYLLIC AND PEACEFUL VILLAGE
Moorland View is in the idyllic 13th century thatched Dartmoor village of North Bovey, which has a wonderful gastro-pub, ancient parish church, village green and beautiful riverside, woodland and moorland walks. You can buy local honey, eggs and lamb at the honesty box. Country living never came so easy.
Our complimentary welcome hamper includes a bottle of wine and snacks, an artisanal breakfast of just-baked bread, farmhouse butter and fruity preserves, a bowl of fresh fruit, teas and freshly-ground coffee, bottled milk from our local diary and a bottle of Devonshire spring water.
Moorland View has free Wi-Fi, a 24-inch Smart television with DVD player, movie library and pay-as-go films, use of an Apple Mac computer, landline phone and through-cottage Sonos music system with free use of Spotify, meaning you can play virtually any music you like.
Dartmoor is a 368-square-mile wilderness of open moors, craggy peaks, thatched hamlets, Stone-Age hut circles, wooded gorges, fairytale castles and grand stately homes. Two Michelin-starred Gidleigh Park is a short drive from the cottage, and Devon's sandy beaches are a 50-minute drive. > Guide
